Add ground beef to pot, breaking up into small pieces as it cooks and browns.
Once the beef has cooked and is beginning to brown, add all spices and stir to combine.
Drain water off soaked rice and add rice to pot. Stir to combine and cook for 2 minutes.
Add 3 cups of water to pot and allow to come to a hard boil. Then immediately reduce heat to low, cover pot, and let cook, untouched, until the water has been absorbed by the rice.
Fluff rice mixture with a fork, serve, and enjoy!
