Honey Sriracha Brussels Sprouts

Serves: 4 servings
Ingredients
  • 2 lbs Brussels sprouts (I prefer small-medium sized buds; shaved Brussels sprouts would work as well)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 8 slices center cut bacon
  • 1-2 tbsp Sriracha (depending on how spicy you like things)
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 tsp light brown sugar
  • ½ tsp seasoned salt
Instructions
  1. Rinse Brussels sprouts, trim off ends and quarter each one. Don’t worry if some leaves fall off just toss them in with the quartered Brussels sprouts. Spray with cooking spray and set aside.
  2. Dice bacon (I like to cut mine with scissors) and cook in skillet with brown sugar at medium high heat for about 10-15 minutes or until cooked through.
  3. Once cooked, add in Brussels sprouts, honey, sriracha, minced garlic and seasoned salt. Cook all together on medium high heat for about 10-15 minutes or until the Brussels become tender and blacken a bit. Note: larger Brussels sprouts may require longer cook time and very small Brussels sprouts may require less cook time.
